How it Works
Icon™ uses fractional laser technology to emit concentrated pulses of energy into your skin and can help with wrinkle reduction along with unwanted pigment, scar reduction, and stretch mark reduction. When the energy is absorbed, your body begins to start healing itself and creates new healthy skin in the area that was treated. During the next few weeks, your skin will improve in tone and smoothness.
What To Expect On The Day Of Treatment
Depending on the area being treated, the procedure on average takes less than 30 minutes. Eye shields will be provided to protect your eyes from the laser during the procedure. There may be some mild discomfort, and we do provide numbing cream to ensure your comfortable during the entire treatment. The Icon™ handpiece delivers energy into your skin targeting the areas of treatment. A few days post treatment, you may also experience some swelling and/or redness on the area treated, but this typically subsides by the third day.
Am I a good candidate for Wrinkle Reduction?
Icon™ fractional laser technology can be safely used on most skin types for wrinkle reduction. During your customized consultation with our Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, we will determine if you are an optimal candidate for the treatment based on a variety of factors specific to your skin type.
What type of result can I expect?
You can expect to notice an overall improvement in your skin texture and tone, specifically wrinkle reduction over the next 6 weeks post treatment.
How many treatments will I need for optimal Wrinkle Reduction?
Most patients come in for 1-3 treatment sessions for wrinkle reduction.
How far apart are treatment sessions?
Wrinkle reduction using our ICON™ using our fractional laser should be scheduled 4-6 weeks apart.
How much does the Wrinkle Reduction treatment cost?
The cost of treatments vary depending on the area and size and condition, it is best to come in for a complimentary aesthetic consultation with our Aesthetic Nurse Specialist.
How does it work?
Pulses of fractional laser light are used to break down old and damaged tissue, triggering your body to create new tissue at the area being treated. This new tissue will provide healthier skin with the appearance of less wrinkles.
